Come Dance With Hunger Action LA!

First of all , we at Hunger Action LA want to thank all of you who supported our Awards and Dinner event last Thursday! Exit polls indicate everyone had a good time. Honoree Matt Sharp promised dancing, and sure enough there will be dancing on Saturday November 29 at a special event in Pasadena!

From CDCLA:

California Dance Coop Los Angeles is hosting an Empty Bowls Fundraising Event on Saturday, November 29th in Pasadena. Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort to fight hunger and food insecurity. Guests at the event will be invited to select a handcrafted ceramic bowl for a simple meal of soup and bread in exchange for a donation to an organization working to end hunger and food insecurity. This year, Empty Bowls would like the money raised during the event to benefit Hunger Action LA.

Contra dancing —similar to Square Dancing for those of you who grew up where I did— is something fun to learn just before you actually perform it! Check out the videos on , to learn how! http://bit.ly/1xma4Vg
